It's our favorite time of the year here at Jade Child Development Center. The stockings were hung on the cubbies with care, in hopes that Saint Nicholas soon would be there!
Today our friends in young preschool helped carved a pumpkin. Ms. Momo and Ms. Quisha had to cut open the top off the pumpkin, and one by one each friend helped with the scooping tool and took out the insides of the pumpkin. and after that they enjoyed carving the pumpkin. Young preschool also enjoyed painting another pumpkin with paint. That was our fun day on Wednesday.
During Halloween week, the toddlers did many projects involving pumpkins. They decorated the outside of the pumpkin using paint & brushes. They also assisted the teacher by taking the seeds out & exploring the different textures.
